Since the start of sfTravel.com in 1996, battles have raged on whether San Francisco's famous Lombard Street is the world's crookedest street. We've received input from around the United States, but now want to open it up the world.
As far as we're concerned - Lombard Street is THE crookedest street anywhere. If you disagree and can back it up -- feel free to comment. Take a look at our photo above - it's crooked beyond belief or even reason and is attracting thousands of Nebraska tourists every day. We'd love to see your photo if you think your city has got a more crooked street - because otherwise...
San Francisco's Lombard Street is the crookedest street in the universe!
Lombard isn't even the crookedest street in San Francisco, that's Vermont Street.

Hmmmm... the page you reference shows them as a TIE:
Quote: "...Mister SF prefers to avoid arguments altogether and calls both Lombard Street and Vermont Street (between 20th and 22nd in Potrero Hill) San Francisco's crookedest streets...."
Mesh - How do you measure "crookedness" exactly?
